Economy & Foin

Shared currency with daily rewards, transfers, and casino games

Topics: economy, foin, currency, balance, daily, casino, gambling

Give your community a shared currency with daily rewards, transfers, a global leaderboard, and optional casino games.

Overview

Netrcol's economy runs on foin. Members earn it, send it to each other, and can spend it on casino-style games. Balances are tied to the member, not to a single server, so the same wallet follows them everywhere Netrcol is present — while each server decides whether the economy is available at all.

The system is on by default. Turn it off for a server from Dashboard → Settings → Economy; the economy commands then stop responding there.

Earning foin

SourceAmount
!daily100 foin, once every 24 hours
Transfers from other membersAny amount they choose to send
Winning a casino gameDepends on the game and the wager

The daily cooldown is counted from the moment of the last successful claim, not from midnight, and the reply tells members exactly when they can claim again.

Checking balances

Members can see their own or someone else's wallet with !balance (!bal works too). The global standings are available through !rich, also aliased as !foinboard and !economyboard.

Every member also gets a profile page on the dashboard with their balance and a full transaction history — every reward, transfer, wager, and payout is recorded.

Sending foin

!pay <user_id> <amount> transfers foin between members. Transfers are logged on both sides, so the history stays auditable.

Casino games

Wagers are limited to between 10 and 1000 foin per round. Three games run from chat:

GameCommandHow it plays
Coinflip!coinflip (!cf)A single flip against the house
Slots!slotsWeighted reels paying out on a pair, a triple, or the jackpot
Blackjack!blackjack (!bj)A button-driven hand played out in the channel

The dashboard adds Plinko and Roulette, which are played in the browser against the same balance.

Note: Every round is written to the game log with its wager and payout, so unusual activity is traceable.

Administration

Developers can correct balances with !eco <add|remove|set> <user_id> <amount>. The command is restricted to configured developer accounts and every adjustment records who made it.
