Ticket Commands
Set up and manage support tickets
Topics: ticket, support, open, close
Overview
The ticket module lets members open a private channel to reach your staff, keeping support requests out of busy public chat. A member opens a ticket, Netrcol creates a private channel visible to them and the support role, and the ticket is closed when resolved — optionally saving a transcript. The chat commands below cover a single-category setup; for panels, multiple categories, and transcripts, use the Ticket System page in the dashboard.
Ticket Setup
!ticket setup
Required permission: Manage Channels
Opens an interactive setup wizard that walks you through choosing the ticket category, the support staff role, and an optional log channel — no IDs to copy by hand. You can also run !ticket disable to turn the system off.
!ticket setup!ticket disable
Ticket Status
!ticket-status
Required permission: Manage Channels
Shows the current ticket configuration: whether it is enabled, the category, support role, log channel, and the per-user open limit (default 1).
!ticket-status
Open Ticket
!ticket-open [reason]
Opens a new private ticket channel for you. Staff are notified, and the per-user open limit is respected. Anyone can use this command.
