Invite Tracking

Track who invited whom on your Fluxer server, see how many members each invite has brought in, and reward your most active inviters with roles.

Topics: invites, tracking, rewards, referral

See who invited each member, keep join history, and reward distinct eligible invitees. Configure this under Dashboard → Invite Tracking.

Counts and credit ownership

  • Unique invites count each eligible person once for the inviter credited on their first recorded join. Leaving does not remove this credit.
  • Active invites count those credited people who are currently in the server. Leaving reduces this count; returning restores it for the original owner without creating a new unique credit.
  • Total joins preserve historical join events, including rejoins. They are separate from reward credit.
  • Left and Fake retain historical departure and flagged-join counts.

A person who leaves and rejoins cannot earn another unique credit for anyone. If A first earns credit and the person later returns using B's invite, A keeps the credit; B gains none. The join log can still identify B as the invite used for that visit.

A first recorded join excluded as fake, a self-invite, a bot, or an unknown/vanity inviter does not become eligible on a later join. Account age increasing, changing tracking settings, or using another invite does not reset that first decision. Bot tracking and fake-account settings affect event tracking; enabling them does not grant excluded people reward credit.

Reward roles

Choose Active invites (the default) or Unique invites, then add a role and threshold. For example, five unique eligible people can earn a Recruiter role. Repeated joins by the same person cannot meet a higher threshold.

The previous Total joins reward mode is now interpreted and saved as Unique invites. Existing role grants are not automatically stripped by this change. Removal still follows Remove dropped rewards and the normal reward checks; leave that setting off to keep previously granted roles.

Netrcol needs Manage Roles, and its role must be above the reward roles. See Permissions & Roles.

Join and leave messages

Choose the message contexts, content, and log channel. Saved custom text is preserved. The exact former default message automatically upgrades to the new localized default. The meaning of {invites} changes to unique credit:

TokenValue
{inviter}The invite creator attributed to this visit, as a mention
{creditInviter} / {creditInviterName}The original eligible credit owner, as a mention or name; unknown if no credit was earned
{invites}The displayed inviter's unique credit count
{activeInvites}The displayed inviter's currently present credited people
{joins}The displayed inviter's historical join count, including rejoins
{leftInvites} / {fakeInvites}The displayed inviter's historical departure / flagged-join counts

Other supported tokens include {user}, {username}, {server}, and {inviteCode}. If an old template used {invites} to show historical joins, use {joins} instead. Credit owner and displayed inviter can differ after a return through someone else's invite; rewards use the credit owner.

Existing records

For older data, unique and active credit can only be derived from member records still retained. Historical join totals remain unchanged. Missing attribution cannot be reconstructed from those totals, so a smaller unique count does not mean the old join history was deleted. A retained legacy record supplies the available attribution; it cannot prove an earlier inviter whose record was overwritten or lost.

Permissions and related features

Netrcol needs Manage Channels to refresh invite links. Pair invite logs with Welcome & Goodbye, and review Permissions & Roles.
