Recognize everyday participation

Give members a visible record of their participation without asking staff to maintain it by hand. Netrcol awards XP for eligible chat messages, tracks levels and shows progress through rank cards and a leaderboard. It is a configurable recognition system for your community, not a promise that adding levels alone will increase activity.

Choose where XP is earned

Tune leveling difficulty and decide which channels and roles are excluded from earning XP. For example, a community can leave ordinary discussion eligible while excluding a bot-command channel. Review those choices before enabling rewards so the system reflects the participation you actually want to recognize.

Announce milestones in your own voice

Enable level-up announcements, choose their destination and customize the message using member, level and XP placeholders. A dedicated announcement channel can keep milestones separate from active conversations. Preview the message and test the chosen channel permissions before expecting announcements to appear.

Award roles automatically

Create reward tiers that grant roles when members reach selected levels. Choose whether members retain multiple earned reward roles or only the highest one. Role rewards can mark community milestones, but should not grant sensitive staff permissions merely for accumulating XP. Netrcol needs Manage Roles and a role position above the rewards it assigns.

Show rank cards and leaderboards

Members can check their progress with the rank and leaderboard commands. Customize the default rank card background and accent colors in the dashboard so the display fits your server. These views make existing progress understandable without requiring a separate spreadsheet or manual member ranking.

Start small and review the results

Enable the Levels module, select eligible channels, set an initial reward tier and check a member rank card. Staff with the required permission can adjust XP for corrections or event rewards. Review the distribution over time and change your configuration when needed; message XP measures eligible activity, not the quality of every contribution.
