Let members choose their own roles

A reaction role panel turns one message into a self-service role menu. Match an emoji to a role and a member receives that role as soon as they react. When they remove the reaction, Netrcol removes the matching role too. Use the panel for color roles, notification opt-ins or a simple verification step.

02

Begin with a ready-made template

Start from a blank panel or choose a pre-filled template for verification, notifications, colors, continents or zodiac roles. Templates already include their emojis and labels, so you only need to attach the roles. Netrcol can also create the template roles automatically and fill them into the panel instead of making each one by hand.

Build the message and its role mappings

Customize the panel embed with your own text, title, color and images, then add up to thirty emoji-to-role mappings beneath it. Each mapping can grant as many as two roles, and you can use either default emoji or custom emoji from your server. These limits keep every panel understandable while leaving room for menus.

04

Choose between multiple roles and pick one

Allow several selections when members should be able to combine roles from the same panel, or turn that setting off to make each new reaction replace the other choices. Default mode adds a role on reaction and removes it on un-reaction. Reverse mode does the opposite, removing the role first and giving it back on the next reaction.

Publish now and revise the panel later

Choose a channel and publish when the panel is ready. Netrcol posts the message and adds the configured reactions for members to use. If the menu needs to change, edit its saved configuration and send it again to update the published message. Emoji panels are available now; button and select-menu panel types are listed as coming soon.

Check permissions and role order before launch

Netrcol needs the Manage Roles permission, and its Fluxer role must sit above every role the panel hands out. Build the panel in Dashboard, Reaction Roles, attach the roles, publish it to a test channel and try both adding and removing a reaction before introducing it to the rest of your server.
